There are so many beautiful moments within a wedding—especially the dancing. Think about it- the first dance, the parent dances, and even the social dancing are often some of the most photographed moments of the day.

If quality time is your love language...

But there’s so much more to it than just learning a dance or looking good for the camera. Think about all the quality time you’ll spend with your loved one(s) leading up to the big day. During our lessons, you’ll not only learn choreography, but also laugh, connect, and make memories together along the way. Amid busy schedules and wedding planning, it becomes a special excuse to slow down and enjoy time together.

If you’re looking for original choreography created specifically for YOU, you came to the right place. I create customized choreography based on your personality, song choice, comfort level, style, and overall vision. Together, we’ll collaborate throughout the entire process, making adjustments as needed so the movement feels natural and authentic to you. The goal is for you to shine on the dance floor with confidence—as if you’ve been waiting for this moment your whole life (some of us really have!).

Collaboration

I maintain a very collaborative process because my goal is to bring YOUR vision to life. If you don’t fully have a vision yet, that’s okay—we’ll build one together. Your choreography is customized completely to your music, style, comfort level, and personality. Changes can always be made throughout the process, so don’t worry if a dance combination doesn’t feel natural right away.

The Lesson Experience

Once your choreography is finished (typically within about a week), we’ll schedule your first dance lesson—yay! During your lessons, you’ll learn foundational dance basics and your routine step-by-step. Don’t worry if you’re bringing a second left foot along… there’s no judgment here!

FAQ

Don't worry, I know you are wondering...

“How soon should I start dance lessons?”

I typically recommend starting lessons around 3 months before your wedding date. Most couples meet once a week for 1–2 hour lessons, though this can vary depending on your goals and vision. I always encourage couples to reach out sooner rather than later so we can create the best possible plan together. That said, I do take on last-minute dancers when availability allows, so don’t panic if you’re finding me only a month before the big day!

“How long will my dance be?”

Most first dances and parent dances are around 90 seconds long. Of course, we can make it longer or shorter depending on your vision and song choice! Bridal party and groomsmen dances—think flash mob or boy band performance energy—typically range from 1.5–2.5 minutes. Everything is customizable to fit your vibe.

“How many lessons will I need to learn my routine?”

Great question! I work entirely at your pace. Some couples pick things up quickly, while others prefer more time and repetition—and both are completely normal. We’ll spend as much or as little time as needed to make sure you feel confident, comfortable, and polished on the dance floor.

“What should I bring to dance lessons?”

Bring the shoes you plan to wear during your dance and something to drink! I’ll take care of the music, speakers, choreography, flooring, and any mock props if needed.
